Vote, Sip, Support: Oceana Coffee to Award $500 Community Grant at Live Celebration June 26

Lake Park, FL – This June, your cup of coffee could cast a vote that changes lives. Oceana Coffee’s signature Cup of Kindness program returns with a $500 community grant — and the public gets to decide who wins.

The final vote and check presentation will take place Thursday, June 26, from 5–7 p.m. at Oceana Coffee’s Lake Park location (1301 10th Street). The winner will be selected live, based on customer votes — including those made on the spot during the celebration.

Three inspiring local nonprofits are in the running:

• Xcel Florida – Empowering underserved youth (ages 13–25) with mobile training and purpose-driven mentorship to help them launch careers in trades and innovation.

• Pandora’s Kids – Supporting grieving children by connecting them with peers who truly understand, fostering healing through shared experiences.

• Artists of Palm Beach County – Championing local artists and awarding scholarships to young creatives, enriching the community through accessible art and education.

Customers can vote now by visiting any Oceana Coffee location or purchasing charity-labeled coffee online. Voting remains open until the final moment of the event.

“This is more than a check. It’s a community spotlight,” said Amy Angelo, co-founder of Oceana Coffee. “We’re proud to let our customers decide which local heroes to lift up.”

The event is free and open to the public, featuring coffee, refreshments, and a chance to meet the people behind each nonprofit.
