Join us under the Lighthouse Seminole Chickee Hut for story time & craft activity about Lighthouse Keepers, Florida History and People & Local Plants and Animals. Moms & Dads, this is ideal for kids ages 8 and under. Please bring a small beach/picnic mat for your child. Please arrive 10 minute prior for check-in. Gate closes/no admission after 10:40 am. Pose for a Purpose
Held outside on the square in the heart of the action in beautiful City Place, West Palm Beach...Imagine a yoga experience all of your own and yet jointly linked together with others around you through the transmission of sound. With the use of special LED Headset technology, Jennifer Martin has creatively curated a vinyasa yoga class with the music mix of DJ Adam Lipson. The experience will leave you feeling the perfect balance of energy and introspection. This special "Pose for a Purpose" series will be happening the first Wednesday of every month beginning May 2nd and will benefit different local chairties during each event. Since May is Foster Care Awareness Month, our May 2nd class will highlight and benefit the wonderful works of Place of Hope. Place of Hope is the largest faith-based family-style, state-licensed children's organization in the region. Children and families find dignity, guidance and hope through various programs and efforts stretching from Vero all the way down through Boca Raton. "Because children in foster care often experience multiple placement disruptions while in the system. we (Place of Hope) strive to meet their critical needs by providing structure, stability and consistency as well as growth opportunities. While many siblings in foster care are forced to live apart, we strive to reunify brothers and sisters and maintain crucial family relationships" The LOVEMARK Company will also have a "trunk show" table set up for the event and be donating 20% of all sales to Place of Hope as well. PBSC 2018 Golf Classic is a charity event that attracts and engages the Palm Beach Community College’s corporate business and community partners. Play is a Golf Scramble Format On-course activities include golf, range balls, green & cart fees on-course snacks and beer Cocktail Reception immediately after play with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. Award ceremony, recognition and raffle The event culminates with a private cocktail reception where golfers, college leadership and community supporters come together to enjoy a brief program presenting a sponsor recognition video, student testimonial, contest winners presentation and raffle drawing. The funds raised are allocated for student scholarships and programs.

AUSTINBLU FAMILY FISHING TOURNAMENT 2018
Calling all anglers! Join the River Center and the AustinBlu Foundation for the first ever AustinBlu Fishing tournament on Saturday, May 5th. This family-friendly tournament aims to support the education and outreach efforts of the foundation, which is dedicated to teach people about the importance of safety on the water. This unique tournament will showcase not just one competition, but two! Anglers will have the option to compete in our Release Competition and/or the Harvest Competition. In the Release Competition, anglers will receive points for the number/species of fish caught, photographed, and released. In the Harvest Competition, anglers will compete to catch the heaviest fish out of these 4 categories: Dolphin Kingfish Snapper Wahoo Fishing will commence at 7:00 am and with lines out of the water at 3:00 p.m. Anglers will have until 4:00 pm to submit and weigh their catches. The tournament celebration will begin at 5:00 pm. Participants can enjoy food and beverages from local eateries Guanabanas and Holy Cow Grill as well as partake in our various family-friendly activities such as arts & crafts, a bounce house and a campfire which are free to enjoy during the event. Make sure to check out live music by Bryce Allyn Band Winners will be announced at 7:oo p.m. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to support a wonderful cause!

A Midsummer Night's Dream & Other Works
Ballet Palm Beach closes the 2017/2018 season with a mixed bill, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Other Works at the Eissey Campus Theatre on Sat, May 5 at 7:30pm and Sun, May 6 at 4pm. A Midsummer Night's Dream is based on William Shakespeare's comedy of love triangles and magic. Puck beckons you to the forest where fairy capers pose hilarious results for unsuspecting mortals. Underscored by Mendelssohn’s music, the ballet will delight audiences of all ages. In addition, Ballet Palm Beach presents works from their eclectic repertoire and from guest choreographers.

Our Mission: To promote a healthy, active lifestyle and provide organized opportunities for physical fitness, wellness education, and psycho-social empowerment among Breast Cancer Survivors and their supporters through the sport of dragon boating.
Team SOS PBC members are from all walks of life and range in age from 30s to 70s with varied interests and fitness levels. Each of us is a powerful example that women can lead a full and vigorous life after treatment for breast cancer. SOS PBC offers an active, health-giving, life affirming opportunity for breast cancer survivors. We are a survivor group whose focus is on living, rather than on the disease that brought us together.

Our newest program offers guests the ultimate experience during an after-hours tour, led by an experienced guide. Light bites and refreshments will be provided as participants are led through our exhibit hall to learn about the different sea turtle species, LMC and our conservation efforts, and a variety of aquaria found in our local marine ecosystems. For the second part of the tour, guests will be brought beyond the gates of our turtle yard for a “meet and greet” with our sea turtle patients. The tour also offers an inside tour of our hospital. This is the only experience where we offer a behind the scenes hospital tour! Join the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce for our monthly breakfast on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa. This breakfast will honor our outstanding educators in Palm Beach North, as well as the achievements of our students.
The Chamber will award teachers with a Teacher of the Year Award from their school. This event features keynote speaker Amity Schuyler, Chief of Staff at Palm Beach County School District.
In addition, five high school seniors will be awarded the John Giba Student Leadership Award. The Student Leadership Award program honors seniors who demonstrate leadership qualities, by actively participating in school and community activities and this year's recipients exemplify true student leaders. The Chamber Foundation established the John Giba Student Leadership Award in 1999. John Giba was a Tequesta business leader for many years who wanted to invest in the future of young people.

Blue Friends Beach Clean-Up
Join Lynne Wells and her group of Blue Friends on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. for the monthly beach cleanup. Following 1-hour of cleaning the beach, join us for a light breakfast sponsored by Whole Foods Market in Palm Beach Gardens. Bring a bucket to collect the trash and garden gloves if you have them. Help us keep the very beach that our turtles call home free from trash and litter. Complimentary coffee by Oceana Coffee will be served. Eco-Adventure Series: Sea Turtle Discovery
Discover our local marine life on these specialty tours of our sea turtle hospital and outdoor rehabilitation area. All ages. Join Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) biologists on local eco excursions and explore the diverse coastal ecosystems of Florida. From river to reef, participants will learn about local flora and fauna as well as gain an insight into the importance of these delicate ecosystems in their community.

Team Save Our Sisters Palm Beach County Dragon Boat Team
We are looking for Breast Cancer Survivors to join Team SOS PBC (Save Our Sisters Palm Beach County) Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Team. Palm Beach County’s First and Only Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Team.
Our Mission: To promote a healthy, active lifestyle and provide organized opportunities for physical fitness, wellness education, and psycho-social empowerment among Breast Cancer Survivors and their supporters through the sport of dragon boating.
Team SOS PBC members are from all walks of life and range in age from 30s to 70s with varied interests and fitness levels. Each of us is a powerful example that women can lead a full and vigorous life after treatment for breast cancer. SOS PBC offers an active, health-giving, life affirming opportunity for breast cancer survivors. We are a survivor group whose focus is on living, rather than on the disease that brought us together.
No experience necessary—we will train you!

2018 Memorial Day Ceremony
The Town of Lake Park will hold its annual Memorial Day Ceremony at 11:00 am in Kelsey Park (601 U.S. Highway 1, Lake Park, Florida) on Monday, May 28th. Sponsored by VFW Post 9610, the Ceremony will honor the men and women that gave their lives in service protecting our nation’s freedom.

Twilight Yoga @ the Light
Experience the serenity of Yoga with Mary Veal on the Lighthouse Deck at sunset every Monday. This is an all levels class and beginners are welcomed and encouraged! $10 donation per person. Evening Guided Tour - Hospital Edition
Our newest program offers guests the ultimate experience during an after-hours tour, led by an experienced guide. Light bites and refreshments will be provided as participants are led through our exhibit hall to learn about the different sea turtle species, LMC and our conservation efforts, and a variety of aquaria found in our local marine ecosystems. For the second part of the tour, guests will be brought beyond the gates of our turtle yard for a “meet and greet” with our sea turtle patients. The tour also offers an inside tour of our hospital. This is the only experience where we offer a behind the scenes hospital tour! Lighthouse Moonrise
A howling good time and spectacular evening view of a full moon from the top of the Lighthouse! Tour time approximately 75 minutes, Cost: $20 per person, $15 for Lighthouse Members, Tickets required – purchase online or call 561-747-8380 x101. Tours are weather permitting. Business After Hours at Oceana Coffee
The Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce invites you to join them for their monthly Business After Hours at Oceana Coffee! This month's event will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Guests of our Business After Hours event will enjoy hors d'oeuvres, beverages, and the opportunity to network with other professionals in the local business community.
Proceeds from the 50/50 raffle will benefit the Live Like Jake Foundation selected by our Ambassador Committee. Every month we highlight a member of our Chamber that is a non-profit by inviting them to share their mission with our Business After Hours' guests. Remember to bring cash to be a part of the fundraising for this particular non-profit!

If you register with a coupon and are a no-show, your coupon will still be collected and cannot be used for a future event.
Event Cancellation Policy:
A notice of cancellation must be received by email within 72 hours (3 business days) prior to the event. NO verbal cancellations will be accepted. All cancellation notices received within 72 hours (3 business days) prior to the event will be given an event credit of equal value. Event credits will be applied upon request and are good for up to 1 year from the purchase date. There are NO REFUNDS.
NOTE:
ArtiGras Tickets, Loggerhead Triathlon Registrations, and The Leadership Awards Dinner do not qualify for an event credit upon cancellation. Contributions or gifts to the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
