All current members are provided with a complimentary Best Practices Training session; members receive information about how to best activate their relationships in the Chamber. In addition, we review the various ways members can engage with our Chamber to ensure they are capitalizing on their membership.
After the Best Practices training is completed, a member of the Chamber will teach attendees a business strategy that has helped them in their business. Event Is open to non-members as well.
Successful Business Strategies: Certification with Palm Beach County

Learn how to get certified as a small-minority- and women owned business enterprise (S/M/WBE) with Palm Beach County.
A native of Broward County, is a graduate of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Economics. She has more than 20 years of working knowledge in the field of Civil Rights and Equal Opportunity as a Compliance Investigator for government entities such as the Florida Commission on Human Relations and Palm Beach County Office of Equal Opportunity, as well as non-profit organizations such as the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County.
Her passion for equality continues, affording her the opportunity to work with a great team at the Palm Beach County Office of Equal Business Opportunity (OEBO) as a Senior Small Business Development Specialist. At the OEBO, she is a subject matter expert in business information for Palm Beach County residents seeking to become business owners or looking to further their current business ownership opportunities by becoming a registered vendor and certified S/M/WBE with the Palm Beach County OEBO. She also contributes to the creation and update of internal policies and procedures and provides training to internal and external stakeholders.
Angela is a member of the board of directors for E2C and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Administration. She sits on a number of committees, serves as one of the three judges in the Business category for the Palm Beach Post Pathfinder Awards, and is very active in her church. She and her husband, Claude, are the proud parents of three children: Matthew (23), Elysa (21), and Joshua (20); and two fur babies, Cocoa and Latte.

Event Cancellation Policy:
A notice of cancellation must be received by e-mail within 48 hours (2 business days) prior to the event. NO verbal cancellations will be accepted. Cancellations under 48 hours prior to the event, will NOT receive event credit in order to solidify attendance numbers with the event venue. All cancellation notices received BEFORE 48 hours (2 business days) prior to the event will be given an event credit of equal value. Event credits will be applied upon request and are good for up to 1 year from the purchase date. There are NO REFUNDS. |
NOTE:
Premier Events (ArtiGras Tickets / Loggerhead Triathlon Registrations) and Special Events (The Leadership Awards Dinner / Holiday Mixer / Business 2 Baseball / Golf Classic) do not qualify for an event credit upon cancellation. Contributions or gifts to the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. |
